Mists of Time
Description
The yellowish tint of this painting is symbolic of time - just as books and paintings in antique shops or museums have a propensity to look yellowed with age. The mottled look of darker and lighter hues are as if the viewer’s vision is piercing through a fog - mists of time, as it were - to look into the past and to see this horse riding out of it, just as majestic and beautiful today as it was thousands of years ago.
