Reposeful Retirement - 12x36

$119.00

Description

As many who may recognize this well-known saltwater pump house will know, it was once part of the operations of the largest hard-rock gold mine in the world - the Treadwell Mine in Juneau, Alaska.  It was retired from use in 1922 but still seems to be standing strong over one hundred years later, resting on a lovely sandy beach like a retiree watching the boats go by from the front porch.  You might also have noticed the pair of eagles snuggling peacefully atop its chipper red roof.

It is printed on Fine Art Paper with a 1" white border.
