SHIPPING INFORMATION
What are your shipping costs?
Nothing! :) We only ship to addresses within the 48 contiguous United States, and shipping to any of those states is offered for free on every purchase - no minimum dollar amount must be met.

I offer FREE SHIPPING to all of the 48 contiguous United States, meaning I currently do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

How long will it take to get my original painting?
It will take 3-4 business days to crate up your original painting and to deliver it to the carrier. After that, it is a matter of how far the painting has to travel and whether there are carrier delays. The most common time-frame for shipping is 5-8 days. Altogether, then, the average time you can expect the process to take is 8-12 business days. (Orders submitted to the site on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed Monday unless otherwise noted on the site.)
It is also important to note that original paintings are shipped with signature required, meaning if the package arrives when no one is home to answer the door, then the carrier will leave a note on the door and will take the package back to the post office where it can be retrieved if unable to schedule an appropriate time with USPS for a second delivery attempt.
It is best not to open your package with a razor blade if you do not wish to mar the surface of the wooden shipping and storage crate which is intended to be retained in the event of the painting needing to be moved or stored in future. Storage and care instructions will be included in the package along with the painting's associated paperwork (i.e. - a Certificate of Authenticity, an Insurance Valuation, and a paid receipt, also intended for insurance validation purposes).

Please keep in mind that due to the range of sizes available, the prints are produced AFTER the order is placed, so it is best to allow 3-4 business days for the order to be fulfilled and, as with original paintings, expect up to 5-8 days in shipping; hence, an average total of 8-12 business days. Damaged or Defective Items
Defective products or products damaged in shipping will be either replaced at no extra charge, only where possible, or refunded in full. However, in the case of damage, the buyer is required to follow these guidelines set out by the carrier in establishing proof of damage:
"Photos that clearly show the extent of damage will help with your case. For damaged claims, you’ll also need to provide an estimate of the repair costs from a reputable dealer. If you received something damaged, please hang onto the original packaging and the damaged item until your claim is settled. You may be asked to take them to your local Post Office™ for inspection later. Please do not reship the package.
If a claim is filed because some or all of the contents are missing or damaged, the addressee must retain the mailing container, including any damaged articles, all packaging, and any contents received. Upon written request by the USPS®, the addressee must make this proof available to the local Post Office® for inspection, retention, and disposition in accordance with the claims decision. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim. The Postal Service employee completes PS Form 3831, Receipt for Article(s) Damaged in Mails and it is provided to the customer. The Post Office retains the item until the claims process is completed and determines full, partial, or denied payment and whether to dispose of or return the damaged item."
Please notify me immediately if you have received an item that was damaged in shipping to allow me to file a claim with the carrier service.
Wall Art Prints
Given the multiple options for the types of wall prints as well as the number of sizes and frame styles offered, there are literally hundreds of variants offered on this site. That being the case, the products ordered on this site are custom made after the order is placed. As with nearly all things custom-done, the ability to obtain a full refund for items received in good order is limited since the timely resale possibilities for returned custom items are extremely small.
PHOTO PAPER: The photo paper option offered on this site was my attempt at an "economy" option that still retained the premium quality I wished to provide. The relatively low cost of the item, combined with the narrow profit margin, means I cannot offer returns for this product. Particularly considering the cost of shipping, it simply is not feasible for these custom items to be returned for reasons outside of defect or damage.
FINE ART PAPER: Unframed fine art paper prints can be returned for any reason within 30 days for a full refund (minus shipping). For framed fine art prints, my supplier offers "a 75% refund of the purchase price when you return an order that has dissatisfied you in any way. Returns must be made at your own shipping expense and within 30 days of receipt of your order." This effectively means the buyer can expect to recover approximately 50% of their initial cost for framed prints after accounting for what will have been paid in shipping.
GALLERY WRAPPED CANVAS: The policy for wrapped canvas prints of any kind is the same as for framed fine art prints. My supplier offers "a 75% refund of the purchase price when you return an order that has dissatisfied you in any way. Returns must be made at your own shipping expense and within 30 days of receipt of your order." This effectively means the buyer can expect to recover approximately 50% of their initial cost for wrapped canvas prints after accounting for what will have been paid in shipping. Remember, however, that the printing studio has sacrificed their entire investment since, again, these are custom-made products made specifically for your order.
Original Paintings
An original painting can be returned by contacting me via email within three days of receiving the painting. It is not unlikely that a painting will have multiple interested buyers, so a swift reply from the first buyer in the event that they decide not to keep the original for any reason is important in giving everyone the best consideration possible. Every care has been taken to describe the paintings accurately and to provide ample opportunity for inquiry prior to purchasing. (Bear in mind that color differences between monitors is extremely common, to say nothing of the impossibility of any camera perfectly representing life. There are also significantly different visual impressions created when viewing something on a backlit screen versus on an externally lit canvas.) As such, the buyer assumes the full cost of shipping in the event of wishing to return an undamaged original. Once the painting is returned undamaged, I will refund the full purchase price (minus the initial shipping costs and, if the crate was damaged, minus the crating costs as well). Should the painting be damaged or lost in return shipping, no refund will be offered. (In that case, the buyer should be able to recover their investment by collecting the insurance from the carrier, so it is vital that the package is fully insured when shipping it back.)
